Signing up for Telegram without a SIM card
It is now possible to register a Telegram account without a SIM card by using anonymous blockchain-based numbers.
By paying for a virtual number once, the user will own it until it is sold at auction.
Buying one random number starting with the code +888 will cost the user 9 TON (a little over 1,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).In order to tie an anonymous number to your account, you will need the actual Telegram version (for Android, iOS and macOS - 9.2 or newer, and for Desktop - 4.4 or newer).

Auto-delete all chats
From this day, users will have access to a general timer that will automatically delete messages in all new chats.
General timer will not affect previously created chats, but for them you can quickly set automatic deletion of messages in the new menu: Settings > Privacy > Auto-delete messages.
Once enabled, the timer will be set for all new personal chats, even if the first wrote not you, but the interlocutor, as well as for all new groups you created.
Setting the auto-delete timer has become easier in small private groups: it can be started by any member who is allowed to edit the name and photo of the group.
Topics 2.0
Topics are now available in groups with more than 100 participants.
Added a new vertical bar for easy switching to other chats.
To go to the last active topic directly from the list of chats, just click on the preview of the last message - now it works as a button.
A "General Questions" topic has been added to groups, which stores the history of messages before the group switched to topic mode. This is also where all service messages come in.
This topic is available to all members - in case they want to view earlier posts - but administrators can rename or hide the General Questions topic from the main list.
To view new messages from all topics at once, just switch to Single Chat mode.
To make it easier for users to navigate the list, the message counters of topics that they have already viewed will be brighter and those that they have not yet looked at will be brighter and inconspicuous. This also depends on whether or not not notifications are enabled in specific threads.
Up to 5 topics can now be pinned in such groups, and the number of pinned posts in each group is unlimited.
Aggressive Anti-Spam
Now, group administrators with more than 200 members can use the full power of Telegram's algorithms against spammers by switching the automatic anti-spam filter to the new Active mode.
If group administrators notice false filter triggers, they can report them directly in the Recent Activity section to help developers improve filtering.

The "Memory Usage" menu section on Android has changed to the design already familiar to users of the Telegram app for iOS.
Now you can see how much space each of your chats takes up on your device.
You can delete media from the cache from individual chats, either as a whole or from a specific category: for example, you can only delete photos, videos, music or files.
More Interactive Emoji
Send one of these emoji 😇, 🫡, 🤝, 🙈, 🤗, ✍️, 😨 in a separate message to any private chat, and then click it to see the full-screen animation simultaneously with your conversation partner.
The above emoji are also available to all users as reactions.

Emoji search on iOS
Telegram iOS users can enjoy Emoji search – that was already available on Android – using keywords in multiple languages to find the perfect emoji, including those from your custom packs.

Temporary QR codes
Now you can generate a temporary QR code if you don't have a username and are hiding your phone number from everyone. Scanning the code will let people instantly add you as a contact without knowing your phone number.
